Terms and Refunds

THE NATIVE WAY · LAST UPDATED OCTOBER 2026
7-day money back, and you keep the book. If The Native Way is not for you, write to us within seven days of your purchase and we refund you in full. No questions asked, and nothing to send back.

1Who we are

This website and the digital book The Native Way are published by Joseph Standing Elk (“we”, “us”). By buying or using the books you agree to these terms. You must be 18 or older to buy.

2What you are buying

The Native Way, a digital book (PDF, 86 pages), with three free companion books: The Elder’s Morning Way (24 pages), The Elder’s Evening Way (30 pages) and The Elder’s Animal Way (29 pages), 169 pages in all. Any add-on books you choose at checkout are delivered the same way.

It is a PDF, not a printed book. Nothing is shipped. This is stated on the sales page, on the checkout page and in your receipt. If you would like a printed paperback, write to us after you buy and we will tell you how.

3Price and payment

4Delivery

By completing your purchase you ask us to deliver the books straight away. They open on the screen right after payment, and a download link is emailed to the address you gave, normally within a minute. If it does not arrive, check your spam folder, then write to us and we will send it again.

5Refunds: 7-day money back

Seven days, our word on it. If you are not happy with the book for any reason, write to us within seven (7) days of your purchase and we refund you in full. You do not have to give a reason, and you keep the book.

After seven days, sales are final, because the books are delivered in full the moment you pay.

6Please write to us before your bank

A refund from us is faster than a bank dispute and reaches you in full. We answer every email. If a dispute or chargeback is opened on an order that was delivered and never raised with us, we will send your bank the delivery record (time the book was opened and emailed), the description shown at checkout, your acceptance of these terms, and any messages between us. A chargeback on an order that was refunded, or that you could have had refunded by asking, may be treated as a misuse of the dispute process.

7Your licence to the books

Your purchase gives you a personal, lifetime licence to read and print the books for yourself and your household, including any later corrections of the same edition at no charge. You may not share, resell, upload, copy for others or republish the files. If the files are shared or resold, we may end that licence and stop sending updates to that order.

8What the book is, and is not

The Native Way shares universal elder wisdom and reflective storytelling for the later years. It does not represent, and is not authorised by, any tribe or nation, and it contains no ceremonial or ritual instruction. It is for reflection and general information only and is not medical, psychological, legal or financial advice. We do not promise any particular result. If you are worried about your health or your mind, please speak to your doctor or a qualified professional.

9Our responsibility

The books are provided as they are. To the fullest extent the law allows, our total responsibility for any claim about the books or this website is limited to the amount you paid for them, and we are not responsible for indirect or consequential losses. Nothing here limits any right you have that the law says cannot be limited.

10Copyright

All text, illustrations and covers, the name “Joseph Standing Elk” and the name “The Native Way” belong to us and are protected by copyright and trademark law.
